初めまして。 静岡生まれ、静岡育ちの書道家 松蘭です。
『松蘭』という雅号は、書家であった亡き祖父、''松南'' から受け継ぎました。
海外にばかり興味があった学生時代、実際に何カ国かで暮らしていくうちに、
自分のアイデンティティーについて考えるようになり、自分のルーツ、祖先への感謝、
古き良きものを大切にしていきたいと思いが強くなりました。
外国の方々には、美しくカッコ良い真の日本を知ってほしい。
日本の方には、自国の誇らしさ、尊さを感じてほしい。
昔掛川の茶畑にあった祖父の書道教室の風景。
文化も時代と共に形を変えることで、これまでにない新しい日本の魅力を知ってもらえる
可能性を感じ、2017年に生まれた『抹茶書®』。
祖父の影響で書の道に進んだという、その原点。
すべてが一つの想いにつながり、使命感となって書道のお仕事をしています。
私の書は、書の「道」の原点を大切にしながら、
絵画や音楽同様表現アートとして、様々な素材や色彩を活かしコラボレーションし、
新しいスタイルでの書の制作活動を目指しています。
例え漢字やひらがなの意味を知らない方が観たとしても、
何か五感に働きかける、心に響く日本の総合芸術でありたいと願っております。
Hi, I'm Shoran, a Japanese calligrapher born and raised in Shizuoka, Japan.
The name "Sho Ran" was inherited from my grandfather, "Shonan", who was a master of calligrapher.
When I was more interested in international things than my country, I chose to be a student and living in several countries.
That's made me start thinking about my identity, my roots, my gratitude to my ancestors. I became strongly motivated to cherish the good old things.
'' I want many foreigners to know the beautiful and cool 'authentic' Japan.''
'' I want Japanese people to feel the pride and preciousness of their own country.''
One of Japan's cultural treasure, Calligraphy, has been known for its tradition. Even if you can not understand the KANJI characters, you can still feel it with your heart and soul. One of my missions is to keep this wonderful tradition of calligraphy alive, traveling the world so everyone can enjoy one of Japan's most traditional arts.
In addition to showing traditional Calligraphy to the world, I also collaborate with other forms of art to create new way to enjoy one of Japanese cultural treasures.
For example, I founded 'Matcha Calligraphy.'
Unlike ink, the color of matcha gradually changes over time. It resembles the transition between all four seasons in Japan. “Its fragility and beauty makes you feel nostalgic.”
By writing with macha, you can show respect and thankfulness to our ancestors who brought us into this world. You may also feel an inner sense of calm, as if going into a state of peacefulness. I would like to spread these ways of thinking around the world.

高校はオーストラリア、大学はアメリカに、そしてANA客室乗務員として働いている間に
海外経験を重ね、改めて祖父が教えていた書道の魅力に気づき、書に関わる活動を志す。
2012年、日本教育書道芸術院 師範科を卒業し、
松蘭書道教室を開塾、書家活動を本格的にスタートさせる。
独立後、日本への就職を目的とした海外留学生が在籍する専門学校にて、
書道クラス、そして英語でディスカッションする日本文化クラスを受け持つ。
海外留学生に書道指導をする様子は、「世界に羽ばたく書道家の挑戦」としてメディアにも取り上げられ、
自身の情熱から短期間で海外生活を基軸とした海外進出を果たす。
2015年には文化交流ビザを取得し、ロサンゼルスにて書道家として活動。
美術館、大学、ギャラリー、ホテル等様々な場所で
日本人初の書道パフォーマンス、講義を行う。
その功績を評価され、2018 Lomita in LA Small Business Excellence Award in the Art Classes classification
(2018年カリフォルニア州ロミータ中小企業優秀賞)、
2019 Best of Lomita Awards in the category of Art Classesを受賞。
「伝統文化とは、時代時代の職人達の新しい試みの積み重ねの末にあるもの。
書道の進化と向上に役立つため、携わる者として、
同じように努力を続け、次代へと繋げていきたい。」
現在は静岡・東京にて、「抹茶書®」や「日本人も外国人も一緒に学べるグローバル書道教室」
「海外旅行者向け教室」にて書道の継承に努め、
ワークショップを含め延べ50カ国、約800名の生徒達に書道を教える。
その他にも墨彩画、筆跡診断、Lineで書道、筆文字デザインを行う他、
国内外でパフォーマンスを実施中。
2020年には、Zoomで学べるグローバル書道レッスンを立ち上げ、
「世界を繋ぐ書道家」として、国境のない書道の継承に精力的に活動している。
夢は、ハリウッド映画の題字を手掛けること。
そして「抹茶書®︎」を世界に拡め、日本ブランドを確立することにより、
お茶業界、産地活性化に繋げたい。 一児の母。好きなのは、空手、サーフィン。

Calligrapher Shoran was born in Japan, but educated in Australia and the U.S. She graduated from Irvine Valley College and SUNY Plattsburgh with BA degree.
After working for three years as a flight attendant of All Nippon Airways in Japan, Shoran decided to become calligraphy master because she grew up in calligraphy environment and influenced by Master Calligrapher of her grand farther.
She attended the Japan Calligraphy Academy (Nippon Kyoiku Shodo Geijutuin) in Tokyo and studied under supervision of renowned calligraphy master.
With the credential of the academy, Shoran opened her calligraphy school in Japan.
Shoran was visiting California with Cultural Exchange Artist Visa issued by the U.S. State Department. She also do package, interior and many other types of design.

I know a world-class Japanese calligrapher/artist named Shoran who is in the L.A. She is no ordinary calligrapher. She creates calligraphy and water color Japanese art together on huge a canvas accompanied by music. I'm attaching Shoran's promotional video. I don't know what your budget is, nor how much she charges for a performance; but I can tell you that she will mesmerize your audience.
